Equine Assisted Therapy helps high functioning individuals develop coping skills and reduce anxiety. Horses are magnificent animals that are unbiased and mirror behavior and emotions. They bridge the gap to help understand themselves and begin the healthy process of learning coping mechanisms to help with anxiety, stress and emotional development

This type of therapy is growing in popularity due to its increasing evidence of its effectiveness. We help students in the following areas

Developing Life Skills Through

We teach students to care for a horses through understanding the horses basic needs of grooming, feeding and safety.  The process builds a relationship based on trust and respect.  This approach helps develop the student's life skills for personal growth, develop coping mechanism, and relationships with others.
